Specialty coffee tasting with Sabores | 3 December 2021

Venue: Simple bru Coffee Co. | Tableview – 5 Marine Circle.

Description: An event focused on delving into specialty coffee. We have teamed up with green coffee experts Sabores and the world renowned and experimentalist farmer Elkin Guzman from his farm El Mirador in Colombia to place three incredible specialty coffees on the table. We have tried to minimise all variables to highlight the influence which different factors have in coffee production – All three coffees are produced by Elkin, all three are Carbonic Macerated, with the only difference being that each coffee is of a different variety. We will be brewing the coffees alongside each other and through different means, highlighting and contrasting them against one another with José and Nicole, from Sabores, guiding us through the different factors from farm to cup.
